I don't understand the negative, sometimes irrelevant and outrageous comments. We have always been very satisfied so far. Currently there seems to be a breath of fresh air, the dishes are even more appealing and the selection is very good. Please also leave the lukewarm chocolate cake on the menu, it is divine :-) Keep it up!

Dear team at Landolin, in the meantime we have been your guests several times. The attention and friendliness of the service staff is extremely pleasant. On our last visit 14 days ago we were again well served. The menu is appealing and the selected dishes were very nicely presented and simply delicious. We look forward to our next visit and would be happy to recommend the Landolin to our friends and business partners.

As long-term regular guests, we were able to test the culinary creations of the new kitchen team today. The expectations were met positively. Service and friendliness are still good. Criticism, if it ever arises, has always been resolved positively. A restaurant to be recommended with good, fresh, high quality cuisine and worth the price. We remain loyal and will be back!

My husband and I have always enjoyed staying with family or friends in their restaurant in the past few years. We have never been disappointed in terms of the great service or the above-average good food, the great and creative fish recommendations are very worthy of mention. who until recently provided a culinary experience every Friday in our Waldhof workers' quarter. We were also fans of the homemade dressing and the always homemade salads, the whole thing was only topped by the beautifully prepared desserts that could easily keep up with desserts from the star gastronomy. Unfortunately there is nothing left of this high quality standard, we have recently been to your home twice, once in the form of a family celebration with a buffet, and once we stopped by after a walk through the Käfertal forest . Both times were very sobering. At the buffet there was a salad as a starter that was brought to the table by the two warm service ladies (both we knew from the past), unfortunately the salad had a lot of brown spots, the dressing tasted like any 95 cents dressing from the discounter . The home-made salads advertised earlier were also completely missing, to make matters worse, my husband had a whole stalk as an extra side dish on the plate. The lukewarm dishes that were offered to us carelessly in the warming container were nothing special in terms of taste, not bad but also not good, yet far from the taste and optical standard we were used to! The day / afternoon ended with mixed feelings, we stayed for our part so that everyone can have a bad day and everyone deserves a second chance. After our walk, the two of us stopped by them, the couple who were friends with us had gone home despite our praise talking about Landolin. What was better in retrospect would have turned out really embarrassing for me and my husband! We both ordered the Braumeister Goulash which we had already eaten before the Corona crisis and were totally enthusiastic about it.In addition to decent pieces of meat in a delicious sauce that lived up to its name, we also ordered spaetzle which, in our opinion, were also hand-scraped (And let's be honest, where is it still today). With great anticipation, my husband and I enjoyed the beer that went with the dish, but then the bitter disappointment that the meat was a bit similar to what we serve our cat, small “pieces of meat” in a thin jelly-like sauce, the spaetzle that we got were no longer hand-scraped, they looked like small balls when pressed, the goulash could not convince in terms of taste the meat was totally gristly and tough, in short, inedible so as not to be disgusting to mention again that it was good that our friends weren't there, I would have been ashamed if we shared this with our friends s quality! The Landolin had the second chance from us and unfortunately couldn't convince again we won't come again. Looking at the previous comments and the owner's replies, one reads again and again that it is due to the Corona crisis and a change of staff in the kitchen has taken place, but now I ask myself what a pandemic has to do with quality! Especially now when there are difficult times for restaurateurs, you should really score with quality and if the new kitchen team cannot keep the old standard you should work intensively on it and, if necessary, think about a new change of staff. I can imagine that a Caritas company is very interesting for good cooks and service staff, so I don't understand that a platform is offered to such a quality as it is currently. We are disappointed, but we wish you and your team all the best for the future

At the beginning we were happy to support the Landolin inclusion company and found that you can get very good food of a really great quality with an attentive, charming service and a great atmosphere. My father has been looking forward to the slaughter plate in the winter for three years in particular. The sauerkraut is refined, homemade mashed potatoes and a piece of crunchy crust is always placed over the belly. Other dishes were also always very consistent. Unfortunately we were more than disappointed this time. I also doubt that a chef prepared the meal. The food was inedible! The sauerkraut from the can directly on the plate, the mashed potatoes an indefinable liquid potato broth with powder lumps. The worst for last. The liver sausage and black pudding were not cooked. The sausages were laid out raw. Even if someone with disabilities has prepared the meal. Should a supervisor control the food in the future. The young, nice waitress noticed our disappointment and apologized. I've read the other reviews and I can understand the bad reviews. We like to go out to eat often, even during the Corona period. We hope that the Landolin will soon have the same good quality.

I cannot understand the sometimes bad reviews. Above all, the criticism of the price and at the same time high expectations of the quality. Quality has its price. And it is clear that not everyone likes everything. But there is a menu on which you can choose something else. So for me five stars and if there are still Brussels sprouts in the future I'll give the Landolin six stars. Thank you for continuing to run the restaurant, especially during the difficult times of Corona, and for being able to serve the many residents a delicious lunch.

As a vegetarian, I always find a delicious, seasonal dish at Landolin. The kitchen can even react spontaneously to my lactose intolerance, which I don't often find. With Landolin it works, ("do mo")! The dishes are freshly prepared, I can taste that. The service is attentive and the espresso with the dish of the day makes my heart beat faster. Speaking of the heart: there are still too few companies working together. I am always happy to support that!

We always like to come to Landolin. Due to circumstances, this doesn't happen very often at the moment. I choose something on the menu beforehand, but then still falter when I see the dishes on the table. I have never regretted my spontaneous choice. As we were very satisfied with the quality and service this time as well, the next time will not be long in coming despite the somewhat longer journey.

We have already been to Landolin twice. The lunch menu is very tasty and cheap. The dishes on the daily recommendation are also always seasonal and are of very good quality. We will definitely be back.

Very disappointing Once the old kitchen brigade is gone, the food no longer tastes good. I have seldom seen the tall blonde waitress something unfriendly and incompetent. Best to close the shop instead of giving people such poor service.

Unfortunately now very disappointing. We loved coming to Landolin because it was always delicious there and the atmosphere is really great. Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated a lot in the last few weeks. We were always happy about the homemade spaetzle, and everything was always prepared with so much love and beautifully presented. It's a shame that it has deteriorated so much in the last few weeks. A restaurant that really has potential, but unfortunately doesn't make use of it.

Since the Corona crisis, the food there has been so slimmed down that you can no longer go. At heartily salted prices, a dollop of ready-made potato salad out of the bucket, ready-made sauce and more than 2 bites are not. Now had 3 take-away meals. Enough. ?

After the original landlord refused us two days before my mother's funeral (before the corona restrictions), we thankfully stayed with the mourning community. We got seats in the separate room. The table was nicely decorated. The quality of the food was very good and the service very attentive. We will be happy to come back when the situation will hopefully return to normal soon.

Nice atmosphere, nice service and reasonable prices. The waffle was delicious. Unfortunately, the coffee is not really tasty and rather not recommended (maybe the type should be changed here). Accordingly, a point deduction.
